Job Description

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in developing proposals as a technical lead for the customer/client base, including offshore oil & gas customers, LNG plants, etc. This involves reviewing client requests for quotation (RFQ) and performing equipment selections using company or other engineering tools to develop the most optimized solution(s).

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Proposals by reviewing client's request for quotation (RFQ)
  • Perform equipment selections using company or other engineering tools
  • Prepare outside purchase equipment (OPE) RFQs
  • Work together with regional/global supply chain managers to engage and align for a compliant offer
  • Lead overall cost integration and analysis with consideration for technical and commercial risk assessment
  • Assist Sales Managers in developing Technical and Commercial strategies for the successful implementation of the Order Capture Process
Required Skills and Qualifications

Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering degree from an accredited higher education institution is required. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge and experience with Siemens Energy Gas Turbines for Oil & Gas projects and with added advantage of having experience in Combined Cycle / power generation industry.

">Key Requirements:
  • Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering degree from an accredited higher education institution
  • Experience in rotating equipment (i.e. gas turbines, steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, centrifugal pumps, motors, etc.) in either design, application engineering, front-end / detail engineering or installation and commissioning
  • Experience in Combined Cycle Design for modules or Power Plant will be an added advantage
  • Team player and works well with others in a team environment
  • Domestic and international travel is required to support training, project presentations, bid clarification and project kick-off meetings
  • Excellent written, verbal communications and presentation skills. Proficiency in the English language, bilingual and international experience is an advantage
