Job Title: Mortuary Assistant Description:

The Mortuary Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of funeral services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and transportation of deceased individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the collection and transportation of deceased individuals
  • Help prepare coffins and assist with encoffining duties
  • Oversee the delivery of caskets to funeral wake locations
  • Guide and support bereaved families during funeral proceedings
  • Drive funeral hearses
  • Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and premises in a clean and tidy condition
  • Assist with collecting and transferring ashes, as well as sea burial arrangements
