Job Title:

Renewable Connections Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Renewable Connections Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our power systems division, you will be responsible for large scale renewable connections, registration, and commissioning according to the Australian National Electricity Rules.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with power system analysis tools such as PSSE, PSCAD, PowerFactory, and Python.

Key Responsibilities and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or Power Systems (Masters viewed favourably)
  • 4+ years of industry experience, with Australian work experience viewed favourably
  • Fundamental knowledge of power electronics control systems and experience working within an OEM is considered an advantage
  • Ability to work independently to solve complex tasks
  • Good communication skills and experience in building relationships with clients
  • Proficient in writing technical reports and presenting to the client
  • Familiarity with applicable standards, i.e. IEC, IEEE
  • Great interpersonal skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multidisciplinary environment

As a highly skilled Renewable Connections Specialist, you will have a proven track record of success in large scale renewable connections, registration, and commissioning. You will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, great communication skills, and proficiency with power system analysis tools.
