Job Title

Senior Assistant Manager/Manager, Stewardship.

  • Plan and implement donor events, programs and reports to support stewardship, engagement and relationship building efforts with donors and prospective donors.
  • Develop bespoke, engaging donor communications and unique experiences through a wide portfolio of large and more intimate events to deliver bespoke donor journeys.
  • Organise high-profile events and manage high-value relationships, ideally in a fundraising context.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure opportunities for artistic and program access that align with donors' needs and interests.
  • Manage stewardship events schedule with responsibility to liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Events Planning, Supervision and Execution in alignment with UAO's goals.
  • Create, plan, and execute all aspects of stewardship events for donors and prospective donors.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure opportunities for artistic and program access that align with donors' needs and interests.

Requirements
  • A degree in any discipline.
  • Understanding of philanthropy as it relates to higher education.
  • Knowledge of good donor relationship management.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience preferably in higher education (or a comparably complex organisation) in development, stewardship, advancement, or a related function involving senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving strategic outcomes in a large and complex environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate to a wide range of audiences.
