Housekeeping Team Lead Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Housekeeping Team Lead to oversee the housekeeping operations in our establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Train Staff: Guide and train housekeeping staff in adherence to high standards and procedures, ensuring they have the necessary skills to deliver exceptional service.
  • Inspect and Report: Conduct regular room and public area inspections to ensure a positive guest image, identifying areas for improvement and reporting any issues or concerns.
  • Task Management: Assist with daily housekeeping tasks, including scheduling, task assignment, and inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment, maintaining an efficient and organized workflow.
  • Guest Service: Address guest complaints efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction through effective problem-solving, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Generate and compile reports on any issues or concerns, providing valuable insights for future improvements.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest service, fostering a culture of teamwork and cooperation.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Relevant experience in the field is essential, demonstrating a proven track record of success in housekeeping leadership roles.
  • Availability: Ability to work shifts, including weekends, as required, ensuring adequate coverage and meeting the needs of our guests.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and conflict resolution.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze situations, identify challenges, and develop effective solutions, driving continuous improvement and growth.
