Job Title: Housekeeping Operations Manager


About the Role:

The Housekeeping Operations Manager is responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks and conducting inspections.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in all areas of the hotel.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate the housekeeping staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Address guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Manage housekeeping supplies inventory and ensure proper use of cleaning equipment and materials.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with team members and other departments.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and safety regulations.
  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays.
