Process Optimization Specialist Job DescriptionOverview

We are seeking a skilled Process Optimization Specialist to drive operational excellence in our Revenue Cycle Management organization. This role focuses on identifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Analysis and Improvement: Analyze existing workflows across RCM functions, such as coding, billing, and denials management, to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks. Develop and implement process improvement initiatives that align with organizational goals.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze operational data to uncover trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement. Create dashboards and reports to track the performance of implemented changes and their impact on key metrics.
  • Change Management: Lead process improvement initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring stakeholder alignment and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish benchmarks and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of optimized processes.
  • Innovation and Best Practices: Research industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in process optimization, operations management, or a related role.
  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Experience in workflow optimization for healthcare RCM systems.
