Job Description:
The Operational Excellence Manager is responsible for overseeing workplace and fire safety, regulatory compliance, and facilities operations. This role involves driving safety initiatives, managing service providers, and ensuring effective policies, systems, and processes are in place to support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, review, and enforce EHS policies, risk management, and safe work procedures.
  • Lead safety inspections, incident investigations, emergency preparedness, and fire safety drills.
  • Liaise with authorities on licensing, permits, and fire safety compliance.
  • Prepare WSH reports and coordinate safety committees, trainings, and awareness programs.
  • Manage facilities maintenance, M&E systems, security, housekeeping, and service providers.
  • Oversee upgrading, refurbishment, and space planning works to meet operational needs.
  • Ensure service providers adhere to safety standards and risk management practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

This position requires a degree or diploma in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related fields. A minimum of 10 years' experience as a WSHO and FSM is also required. The successful candidate must be a MOM-registered WSH Officer and certified Fire Safety Manager. Strong knowledge of local safety regulations, ISO and OHSAS standards is essential. Experience in policy development, planning, and project management is also desirable. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
