Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Key Account Manager to join our team in Southeast Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving profitable and sustainable sales & market share growth within Foot Locker Southeast Asia while respecting the image of the adidas Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the single point of contact for Foot Locker in SEA
  • Manage net sales of assigned key account and all categories within
  • Oversee orderbook management, forecasting, and sell-ins for adidas across all countries in SEA
  • Develop strategic account plans and category development
  • Ensure transparency and communication with key stakeholders across the region
  • Manage cost center budget and sales working budget
  • Oversee account payables and receivables

Key Tasks:

Functional

  • Represent the assigned account internally as an ambassador towards all functions and vice versa
  • Develop and maintain a Key Account Plan to ensure understanding of assigned accounts and categories
  • Flag product gaps and needs for Foot Locker SEA to adidas SEA and consolidate with other countries/regions
  • Develop and propose account strategies, formalize them by Strategic Account Plans, and get sign off by direct superior
  • Sell in adidas for Foot Locker SEA and agree on sell out support
  • Support new store roll-out across Asia and ensure brands have best possible representation in store
  • Monitor sell out and order book continuously and ensure reliable and cost efficient supply for the account
  • Support negotiation and enforcement of adidas trade terms

Controlling

  • Measure progress on own KPIs
  • Prepare facts and figures for seasonal reviews, strategic meetings, or other milestones
  • Monitor and report on customers and competitors activities and propose/initiate/take actions
  • Provide realistic plans and forecasts on customer performance
  • Ensure customer compliance with agreements

Leadership

  • Lead the Key Account Manager Foot Locker (1 FTE)
  • Set performance objectives, targets, guidelines, and ensure target achievements
  • Develop functional and interpersonal skills of direct report

KPIs:

  • Net Sales for adidas
  • Margin for adidas
  • Market shares within assigned Key Account and categories
  • Budget compliance
  • Inventory cover of assigned key account and/or categories

Key Relationships:

  • Foot Locker SEA
  • Global/SEA key Foot Locker stakeholders
  • Account Marketing, Range Management, Customer Service, country teams

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Industry - Ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG
  • Exposure - Sports, marketing, account marketing
  • Leadership - > 2 years' experience
  • Functional - > 4 years sales as KAM or in the Field

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in business with marketing and sales focus
