Technical Support Specialist for End-User Services

One of China's largest state-owned energy and petrochemical enterprises is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide dedicated support to end users within the organization.
Job Summary
This permanent opportunity offers a salary range of $4,000 - $4,800 plus benefits. As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance with hardware, software, and network issues, installing and configuring software on computers and mobile devices, and supporting setup and troubleshooting for various hardware.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to end-user IT inquiries, providing effective technical assistance with hardware, software, and network issues.
- Guide users through basic troubleshooting steps for common problems and escalate more complex issues to senior engineers when necessary.
- Install, configure, and maintain software on computers and mobile devices for end users, resolving connectivity and printing issues as needed.
- Support the setup of AV systems for meetings and presentations, troubleshooting and resolving related issues to ensure smooth operation.
- Assist users with any issues related to in-house applications, collaborating with developers or relevant teams to resolve technical problems.
- Create and maintain user guides for various software applications, including in-house solutions, to support users effectively.
- Handle other IT-related duties or projects as assigned to support the company's operational needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Basic knowledge of Windows OS, email servers, and Citrix is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is also essential.
IT troubleshooting experience and experience supporting mid to large groups of users are highly desirable.
