Job Title: Planning Director, APAC CHK

We are seeking a highly experienced Planning Director to lead our Asia Pacific region's planning efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the APAC planning and S&OP strategy, driving business growth, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute APAC planning and S&OP strategy to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Lead the planning process in Asia to support revenue, cost, and cash objectives.
  • Supervise the APAC regional planning team and functionally guide the country planning teams.
  • Manage demand planning, supply planning, S&OP, inventory, and SLOB processes to ensure alignment and a single set of numbers linking demand, supply, and financial commitments.
  • Accountable for delivering inventory targets for the region, partnering with supply chain buyers and product managers to ensure process and metrics in place to improve control.
  • Take full ownership and accountability of SLOB process for APAC.
  • Deliver performance metrics for the region with regards to forecast accuracy, OTIF, and lead times.
Requirements:
  • More than 15 years' hands-on experience in demand/material/supply planning, regional planning, S&OP, procurement, customer service, order fulfillment, and supply chain management.
  • Expert-level SAP user.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, communications, collaborative, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement S&OP, supply chain, and service strategies, initiatives, and transformation within an organization.
  • Prior experience in supply chain team management with a Chemical, FMCG, or Distribution MNC is highly valued.
  • Ability to balance long-term strategic direction with day-to-day operational challenges and requirements.
  • Ability to create functional and scalable systems and processes.
  • Competency in continuously improving the status quo.
  • Eye for details with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to present analyzed information concisely.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-changing environment.
  • Proven track record of strong talent management.
Education:

With a university degree or above.
