About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Consultant to join our team at ASIAPAC TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. as a key member of our data-focused consulting practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Data Projects: Oversee end-to-end data projects, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives, data challenges, and opportunities for leveraging data-driven insights.
  • Design Data Solutions: Develop and architect scalable data solutions, including data warehouses, data lakes, ETL processes, and BI/reporting systems.
  • Provide Expert Advice: Offer guidance on data strategy, governance, data quality management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop Analytics Solutions: Create advanced analytics solutions, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI-driven analytics.
  • Train and Mentor: Lead workshops, training sessions, and presentations to educate clients and internal teams on data management best practices and technologies.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data management and analytics.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role within a data-focused consulting environment, preferably within a systems integration firm.
  • Skills: Proven experience leading and delivering complex data projects, including data warehousing, BI/reporting, and analytics. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar platforms. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, Python). Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels. Proven ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively in a fast-paced environment.
