Job Title: Investment Securities Specialist

Are you looking for a challenging role in investment securities?

  • As an Investment Securities Specialist, you will be responsible for pre-processing checks for all transfers and coordinating portfolio transfers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all relevant approvals are obtained and instructions provided by business adhere to clients' signing mandates and procedures.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure smooth transitions of client assets and portfolio transfers via Letter of Undertaking.
  • Escalate any deviations to procedure.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Closely liaise and coordinate with various parties including front office, internal departments, custodians, and counterparties.
  • Manage daily requests for security transfer from initiation to completion.
  • Process security transfer requests timely and accurately.
  • Effectively manage and resolve failed transfers.
  • Adhere to procedures, control guidelines, market regulations, and compliance frameworks.
  • Provide seamless, efficient, and value-added services to the front office.

Control and Query Management:

  • Effectively manage stock and cash breaks.
  • Perform end-of-day control checks.
  • Ensure exception handling is in line with the exception handling framework.
  • Resolve queries from business within expected timeframes or escalate to the correct parties.

Change Management:

  • Identify control gaps and work with the team to review process efficiency and deliver improvements.
  • Participate in projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum degree in accountancy/finance or similar.
