We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Portfolio Transfer Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all relevant approvals are obtained and instructions provided by business adhere to client's signing mandate and procedure.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure smooth transition of client assets and portfolio transfers via Letter of Undertaking.
  • Evaluate and escalate any deviations from procedure.

Security Transfers:

  • Cultivate effective liaison and coordination with various parties, including front office, internal departments, custodians, and counterparties.
  • Manage daily requests for security transfer from initiation to completion.
  • Process security transfer requests in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Resolve failed transfers effectively.
  • Adhere to procedures, control guidelines, market regulations, and compliance frameworks.
  • Provide seamless, efficient, and value-added services to the front office.

Control:

  • Effectively manage stock and cash breaks.
  • Perform end-of-day control checks.
  • Handle exceptions according to the exception handling framework.

Query Management:

  • Resolve queries from the business within the expected timeframe or escalate to the correct parties.

Change Management:

  • Identify control gaps and work with the team to review process efficiency and deliver improvements.
  • Participate in projects as required.

Requirements:

  • A minimum degree in banking, finance, or a related discipline is required.
  • Preferably with some internship experience.
