Job Opportunity: Environmental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Environmental Health Specialist. This role involves ensuring a safe working environment across all company sites by implementing and enforcing safety policies, procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive health and safety management system that meets regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Liaise with senior management to develop and implement health and safety strategies and goals that align with the company's overall objectives.
  • Investigate incidents and near-miss events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a construction or manufacturing environment.
