Role Overview:
This is a key position within our organization, responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to develop and implement strategies that promote a healthy and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise and support senior management on health, safety, and environmental matters;
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
- Conduct regular site audits to identify potential hazards and recommend control measures;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility;
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills in health, safety, and environmental practices;
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, near misses, and hazards identified during site audits;
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on health, safety, and environmental performance.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role;
- Proven track record of improving health, safety, and environmental performance;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
