- Liaising closely with project managers to ensure workplace safety and health is maintained at the highest level.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Conducting regular site safety inspections and enforcing compliance with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) safety acts and regulations.
- Enforcing all safety requirements and in-house safety rules and regulations.
- Leading monthly safety committee meetings to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensuring the effective implementation of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management standards to enhance the EHS system.
- Reviewing and maintaining site records related to environmental, health, and safety.
- Carrying out training sessions for workers, staff, and site personnel on EHS best practices.
Requirements:
- Degree in engineering, environmental health and safety, or a relevant field.
- Registration with MOM as a WSH officer.
- At least three years of experience in a construction industry setting.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
