Job Title: Health Safety and Environmental Professional
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety and environmental performance of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure legal compliance for all activities within assigned area of responsibility.
- To maintain a safe and healthy work environment within assigned area of responsibility.
- Plan, conduct and participate in audits to identify potential areas of improvement and best practices.
- Organise and conduct regular site inspections with all relevant stakeholders and follow up on all identified non-conformances.
- Function as a safety assessor as per relevant regulatory requirements.
- Lead the emergency response team during emergency situations.
- Serve as secretary for the Vessel Safety Coordination Committee (VSCC) for all assigned projects.
- Initiate and conduct investigations for the purpose of identifying root causes upon any occurrences.
- Liaise with relevant authorities as point of contact representing the company.
Requirements:
- Degree in any Engineering field or related discipline.
- Hot work Assessor certification.
- Confined Space Assessor certification.
- Work at Height Assessor certification.
- Relevant emergency response certifications an added advantage.
- WSH Level C certification.
