We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and execution of EHS programs aligned with our global business standards.
- The EHS Manager will work closely with site and corporate leadership to identify and implement short- and long-term strategic initiatives, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- They will provide leadership, direction, and support to ensure compliance with internal and external environmental, safety, and security standards.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in leading EHS teams, preferably in a manufacturing environment. They must have strong knowledge of national and international laws and regulations related to environmental protection and employee health and safety.
Requirements:- Master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or Environmental Sciences
- Professional certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to critically interpret and use scientific and clinical data to manage risk assessment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing remote and/or global teams
The EHS Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading the development and execution of EHS programs aligned with our global business standards
- Collaborating with site operations, functional leaders, and external clients and vendors to ensure compliance with EHS requirements
- Managing physical security needs to ensure asset and property protection
- Conducting root cause analyses and sharing lessons learned across business units
