Occupational Health and Safety Specialist

EHS Specialists play a vital role in maintaining a safe working environment for employees within the construction industry.

  1. The incumbent will be responsible for developing, implementing and enhancing Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Management Systems and safety culture at project level.
  2. Leading toolbox meetings, site inspections, training sessions and other initiatives to uphold site standards is an essential part of this role.
  3. The EHS Specialist will serve as a liaison with relevant authorities on health and safety matters ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Conducting thorough investigations into workplace incidents including near-miss reporting and root cause analysis is also a critical function.
  5. The Specialist will identify and address environmental and safety non-conformities on-site.
  6. Additional duties may be assigned under WSH Regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Registered WSH Officer Level C
  • ECO Certified
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in the construction industry
