Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective logistics plans that drive efficiency and reduce costs.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement logistics plans that optimize space usage, workflow analysis, and racking setup.
  • Evaluate logistics operations and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Apply Lean principles to drive operational excellence.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures, visual management boards, and performance dashboards.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to support WMS integration.
  • Contribute to new business setups by assisting with facility layout, workforce planning, and procurement of necessary equipment.
  • Utilize tools such as Excel, Power BI, and SQL to monitor and report on operational performance.
  • Develop warehouse simulation models using software like MS Visio or AutoCAD.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards.
  • Support the development of long-term warehouse strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors during planning and execution phases.
  • Perform feasibility assessments and reviews to ensure effectiveness.
  • Define key performance indicators and deliver insights through performance dashboards.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement through team engagement and routine SOP evaluations.
  • Assess and recommend suitable automation technologies and digital solutions for warehouse operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Preferable 3–5 years of experience in logistics planning, warehouse design, or supply chain operations.
  • Prior experience focusing on contract logistics and operational improvements.
  • Proficient in MS Visio, AutoCAD or similar design/layout tools.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP and Warehouse Management Systems.
