Job Description

Our team is looking for an experienced Export Customer Service professional to join our team. As an Export Customer Service representative, you will play a key role in ensuring that export work orders are processed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing flight details to customers within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA)
  • Verifying export documents compliance when processing export work orders
  • Obtaining the necessary export permits and customs clearance in a timely manner
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries via phone or email
  • Monitoring the status of shipments without fail and informing customers of any irregularities
  • Maintaining effective communication with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Warehouse, Traffic, and Planning teams
  • Ensuring that airfreight rates applied are accurate and up-to-date
  • Staying informed about new changes or requirements from airlines or government agencies
  • Preparation and submission of monthly customer reports in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar field or industry
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
  • Proficiency in Japanese language to communicate effectively with Japanese-speaking clients
