Sales Development Representative

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Representative to join our team in Singapore and drive growth for a leading global fintech events company.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential leads for the sales team, building relationships with prospects, understanding their needs, and setting the stage for successful sales engagements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and social media to generate leads.
  • Research on customers, identify decision makers, educate prospects, and qualify buying interest and sense of urgency within the fintech industry.
  • Qualify inbound marketing qualified leads (campaigns, inbound mails) through desk research and provide the New Business sales team with a summary of prospects.
  • Schedule meetings for the sales team with qualified leads.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and company product offerings to effectively communicate value to prospects.
  • Work closely with the new business sales team and account managers.
  • Proactively seek new prospects and opportunities for the new business sales team to exceed sales targets.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor Degree in Business or any related field
  • At least 2 years of sales experience in the technology or fintech industry
  • Positive attitude and self-driven personality
  • Must be proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Estimated Salary Range

$80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
