As a Business Development Specialist at Opal Fintech, you will be responsible for expanding our client base and enhancing the brand's market presence. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Social Media Content Management: Take ownership of Opal's LinkedIn presence, crafting and posting engaging content to build brand awareness and support business development.
  • Content Development: Support the creation of marketing materials, including case studies, blog posts, and updates for social media and website, with a focus on fintech solutions and Opal's value proposition.
  • Campaign Execution: Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns targeting corporate services, lenders, and platforms, ensuring alignment with business development goals.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Identify leads: Research and identify key groups of potential prospects.
  • Lead Follow-up: Ensure consistent communication with prospective clients, following up on leads to keep relationships warm and opportunities progressing.
  • Communication Management: Maintain a professional level of communication with prospects, ensuring they remain engaged throughout the sales process.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or a similar role, ideally within a B2B enterprise sales environment (SaaS, White Label solutions or Fintech experience).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to maintain professional relationships and follow up on leads effectively.
  • Project management abilities to handle research projects and ad hoc tasks efficiently, providing timely and actionable insights
  • Marketing experience in establishing and executing B2B enterprise marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, Mailchimp), and content generation platforms (e.g., Canva, ChatGPT)
  • Interest in learning and growing in the fintech industry, with a focus on payments, FX, and platform-based financial solutions.
