About the Role


The Strategic Partnership Development Specialist will play a key role in establishing, maintaining, and growing profitable business relationships with selected customers and prospects. This involves providing thought leadership, direction, energy, and drive for all engagements with these customers.



Key Responsibilities


The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the business requirements of Orange customers and be able to translate these into business opportunities that can be addressed by solutions and services from the Orange portfolio. Key responsibilities include:



  • Managing all aspects of the business with customers, including meeting or exceeding sales targets, accurately forecasting sales opportunities, generating and executing on account plans, and working across teams and across the globe.
  • Working within defined teams to build complex offerings based on sound commercial, technical, and legal practice. This involves negotiating complex contractual terms and conditions with customers.


Requirements


To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:



  • A degree in IT or a relevant subject, with at least 8 years of consultative sales experience in selling IT services.
  • Experience in high-level corporate sales of managed services and/or outsourcing solutions, with the ability to suggest a valid argument for the fiscal benefits of such services.
  • An established wide network of prospects in sectors such as Manufacturing, IT, Financial Services, and Transportation.
  • Strong salesmanship with a proven sales track record.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent ability to engage with all levels, especially the C-level.


Salary and Benefits


The estimated salary for this role is between $120,000 and $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Orange Business Services offers a competitive benefits package, including a comprehensive health insurance plan, 401(k) matching, and a generous paid time off policy.
