Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to join our team as a Systems Infrastructure Manager. This key role involves deploying, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting various systems and technologies across our infrastructure.

  • Active Directory Administration: Deploy, configure, manage, and troubleshoot Active Directory environments.
  • Email System Management: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Exchange 2016 and Exchange Online.
  • Backup and Restore: Experience with veritas netbackup, including backup and restore processes and troubleshooting skills.
  • Virtualization Management: Deploy, configure, manage, and troubleshoot ESXi 7.0 and Virtual Servers running Windows Servers.
  • Support and Escalation: Provide technical escalation and support to L1 Engineers.
  • Maintenance Activities: Participate in scheduled maintenance activities as required.
  • Routine System Administration: Perform routine system administration duties in a Windows Active Directory environment.
  • Troubleshooting: Monitor servers and troubleshoot problems efficiently.
  • Documentation: Produce detailed documentation for server deployment, configuration, and related processes.
  • Server Installation and Configuration: Install and configure server operating systems and maintain server hardware.

Key Requirements:

  • Windows Server Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Windows servers (2016/2019), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File & Print servers, MS Cluster, Server backup, AD Federated Services, and Windows PowerShell.
  • Server Software / Hardware Management:

  • VM creation, templates, snapshots, and VM backup.
  • Administer and support VMware platform.
  • Maintain accurate documentation on virtualization.
  • Provide technical escalation and support to the L1 system engineers.
  • Monitor ESXi servers and troubleshoot problems.
  • Produce detailed documentation for application deployment, configuration, and related processes.
  • Responsible for the operations and upkeep of the private and shared virtualized environments.
  • Collaborate with other virtualization engineers on new implementations and maintaining current environments.
  • Act as a technical escalation point.
