As a key member of the Kuok Group's Commercial Department, this role plays a critical role in driving business growth and success. The Commercial Executive will serve as the primary point of contact for external clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration throughout the project life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend and contribute to strategic meetings with clients and internal teams to discuss project progress and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of additional works with relevant stakeholders to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and submit pricing proposals for all additional works, taking into account manhours, materials, and subcontractor costs.
  • Provide regular cost updates to clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Prepare and submit invoices for part payments and final repairs, following up with clients to ensure timely remittance.
  • Negotiate and settle final repair invoices with clients and technical supervisors.
  • Monitor and report project budget and profit/loss on a weekly basis, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure accurate and timely project costing and revenue reporting.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Commercial Department.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of ship repairs.
  • Diploma in Marine, Mechanical, Naval Architecture, or Offshore Engineering.
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with SAP/Salesforce is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
