Restaurant Captain Job Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Captain / Senior Captain to join our restaurant team in Singapore.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a pre-opening team and contribute to the success of a new fine dining restaurant. As a Captain, you will play a key role in ensuring excellent customer service, managing front-of-house operations, and leading a team of servers and hosts/hostesses.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in fine dining restaurants, preferably with leadership skills and knowledge of food and beverage. They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintaining high standards of quality and service.

About the Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Manage front-of-house operations, including table setup, ordering, and serving.
  • Lead a team of servers and hosts/hostesses to deliver outstanding service.
  • Assist with inventory management, stock control, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety in the restaurant.
Requirements
  • Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in fine dining restaurants.
  • Prior experience in a leadership role or as a senior server.
  • Strong knowledge of food, beverage, and wine.
  • Familiarity with Point-of-Sale systems and inventory management.
