About the Role:
The Director of Workforce Management is a strategic partner to the leadership team, responsible for leading all human capital initiatives that drive organizational growth and performance in a highly regulated environment. This role is critical in aligning workforce strategies with business objectives, supporting rapid scale-up, ensuring compliance, and fostering a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Oversight of recruitment strategy to attract top-tier talent across engineering, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and commercial functions. Annual manpower planning, workforce scheduling, and succession planning to ensure the right talent is in place at the right time.
• Talent Management & Development
Implementation of leadership development, technical training, and high-potential programs to build future leadership capacity. A robust Learning & Development framework tailored to regulatory and operational requirements. Championing a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation.
• Compensation, Benefits & Rewards
Oversight of total rewards strategy, including salary structures, incentive programs, retention plans, and benefits, ensuring competitiveness in the industry. Annual performance appraisal and bonus processes.
• Employee Engagement & Culture
Initiatives to enhance employee engagement, recognition, and retention in a manufacturing and R&D environment. Trusted advisor to employees and managers addressing workplace concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting positive employee relations.
• Regulatory Compliance & HR Governance
Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. Acting as the Data Protection Officer, ensuring compliance with data protection laws. Negotiating and managing union relations, including collective agreement discussions.
• Change Management & Organizational Projects
Support to senior management through organizational change initiatives, communication planning, cultural integration, and managing ground sentiment. HR-related projects such as system upgrades, policy reviews, and external audits involving HR functions.
