Pricing Manager Role

As a key team member in our pricing department, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing pricing strategies for Ocean Freight activities. This involves close monitoring and active engagement in commercial and operational matters to drive effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Pricing Leadership: Develop and implement pricing strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Pricing Function Management: Oversee the pricing function of Ocean Freight activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Volume Growth Strategy: Strategize and implement initiatives to drive volume growth of the Ocean Freight business through pricing and procurement activities.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and implement operational excellence strategies to improve reliability and performance visibility for the country and management team.
  • Leadership Development: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by training, coaching, and mentoring new change agents (Lean Six Sigma Green Belts, Black Belts, and Lean Champions).
  • Performance Dialogue: Regularly conduct performance dialogues with departments and management teams to drive results.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management or related disciplines with Operations Excellence preferred.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Skills: Excellent command of spoken and written English, strong analytical skills, and ability to think strategically.
  • Personal Qualities: Independent, self-motivated individual with positive attitude, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
