Radiopharmaceutical Specialist

You will be part of a dynamic team in Nuclear Cardiac Imaging to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures on patients.
Key responsibilities include providing clear instructions to patients, performing daily quality checks of gamma cameras, ensuring procedures are carried out as per protocol, and processing image data. These tasks involve dispensing radioisotopes, giving radioisotope tracer injections, and documenting quality checks and radiopharmaceutical data.
Additionally, you will perform pharmacologic stress tests under the supervision of a physician and participate in research programs while adhering to radiation safety guidelines. Clinical training will be provided to successful candidates.
Requirements:Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology/ Diagnostic Radiography/ Radiation Therapy
Valid R1 License from the Radiation Protection and Nuclear Science Department
A team player with good communication skills
Health Requirements:
Measles (or Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination taken during the preceding 10 years at prevailing point of reference as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act.
