Job DescriptionPrepare Radiopharmaceuticals
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic imaging procedures. This includes dispensing radioisotopes in the radiopharmacy lab and giving radioisotope tracer injections.
Perform Imaging Procedures
You will also perform imaging procedures on patients using gamma cameras, ensuring that all protocols are followed and image data is properly processed.
Provide Quality Care
In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will be expected to provide clear instructions to prepare patients, perform daily quality checks of equipment, and document all procedures accurately.
Participate in Research
Nuclear Medicine Technologists may also participate in research programs, working under the supervision of physicians to develop new treatments and therapies.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
- Valid R1 License from Radiation Protection and Nuclear Science Department
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
