Our organization is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to assume key responsibilities in our operations at an international level.
Primary Responsibilities:- Coordinate Freight Operations and Business Development across various modes of transportation.
- Attain revenue targets and secure the acquisition of new and existing client accounts.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure their participation and satisfaction.
- Engage in proactive maintenance of existing clientele, identification of new prospects, and cultivation of business opportunities.
- Develop and lead customer presentations, as well as manage proposal initiatives.
- Disseminate market intelligence regarding customer needs and competitor product enhancements to internal stakeholders and product leaders.
- Contribute to the improvement of sales strategies and approaches to enhance account performance.
- Coordinate shipments, arrange logistics, and monitor progress.
- Minimum diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain or Marketing disciplines.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales within the freight forwarding industry.
- Strong negotiation and CRM skills.
- Detailed knowledge of supply chain operations and ability to orchestrate sales through strategic business offerings.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Microsoft Office, supply chain marketing, and have strong research, lead generation, and account management capabilities.
