Event Business Development Manager

We are seeking an accomplished professional to spearhead our event initiatives in a key global market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing tailored event proposals, and overseeing sales cycles.

The successful individual will possess strong relationships with clients, marketing teams, and internal stakeholders, crucial in achieving sales targets.

  • Pursue new client leads through market research, networking, and industry events to expand the company's event portfolio.
  • Design and maintain a comprehensive annual event calendar, mapping key events across various sectors such as shopping malls, attractions, and exhibition halls.
  • Create and execute effective business development plans that align with the company's long-term growth objectives.
  • Prepare compelling business proposals, presentations, and sales pitches to prospective clients and internal stakeholders, highlighting the value of our events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to synchronize event timing with product launches, sales campaigns, and business goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in sales/partnership management, preferably in hospitality, attraction, or events industries.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong creativity, time management, and multitasking capabilities to handle simultaneous projects.
  • A degree in business administration, sales, relationship management, or marketing is essential.
  • Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
