Position Summary
The Strategic Initiatives & Events Lead plays a critical role in supporting the Managing Director in advancing the company's strategic priorities, stakeholder engagements, and internal governance. This position works across functions to coordinate high-impact projects, executive communications, and special initiatives, while also guiding and developing the Event Management team to achieve key business targets. The role requires strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive information and navigate cross-functional collaboration effectively.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Projects & Initiative Support
• Coordinate and monitor key strategic initiatives and delegations, business development efforts, and internal change programs across departments.
• Conduct research, prepare briefings, and provide analysis on market trends, business performance, and competitor activities
• Draft concept papers, proposals, or internal reports that support strategic business cases or executive decisions for submission to the board of directors
• Track and report on project milestones, deliverables, and risks in coordination with internal stakeholders.
Executive Affairs & Governance
• Support the Management in scheduling, preparation, and follow-up of leadership meetings, board engagements, and internal planning sessions.
• Prepare presentation decks, minutes, and briefing materials for high-level internal or external meetings.
• Coordinate internal communication, including delivery of announcements, updates, and strategy rollouts.
Business Reporting & Administration
• Consolidate department updates and KPIs for quarterly business reviews or board reports.
• Maintain a dashboard of strategic priorities, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement plans.
Event Management
• Guide and develop the Event Management team members (1 direct report).
• Set clear goals and KPIs for the marketing and events functions, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy.
• Oversee the execution of the annual marketing plan and event calendar, achieving the required KPIs
• Provide strategic guidance on brand positioning, digital marketing, content creation, and event execution to enhance community engagement and achieve business targets.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Job Specifications
Education & Experience
• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, executive support, strategy office, marketing, or consulting environment.
• Experience working with senior leadership and managing cross-functional stakeholders is a strong advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Hard Skills:
• Project Management: Proven experience in coordinating strategic initiatives from conception to completion. PMP or similar certification is an advantage.
• Advanced Communication: Expertise in drafting concept papers, board-level presentations, and executive briefings.
• Coordinate and monitor key strategic initiatives and delegations, business development efforts, and internal change programs across departments.
• Conduct research, prepare briefings, and provide analysis on market trends, business performance, and competitor activities

• Track and report on project milestones, deliverables, and risks in coordination with internal stakeholders. Event Strategy: A strong understanding of marketing principles and event management cycles, with the ability to provide strategic oversight to functional teams.
• Business & Market Analysis: Ability to conduct research and deliver insights on market trends and business performance.
• Tech Proficiency: High proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Experience with project management tools and marketing platforms (e.g., CRM, social media schedulers) is a plus.

Language
• Business fluency in English and German (written and spoken) is essential for stakeholder communication.
