**Event Sourcing Specialist**

**Singapore**

The Event Sourcing Specialist will work on a variety of clients simultaneously and serves as liaison between the client and venue(s)/supplier(s) for the duration of the meeting, and beyond when required.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Sourcing, selection and presentation of venues and/or suppliers, taking into consideration programme requirements, budget, key success factors for the programme and legal requirements
- To keep up to date with the client (s) processes and procedures
- To negotiate rates and terms and conditions with the venue in order to reduce costs and support clients
- Efficient management of timelines/deadlines for multiple programmes, maintaining effective communication and clarity with client throughout the sourcing and/or planning process regarding all aspects of the programme
- Negotiation and ongoing contact (including site visits) with key suppliers such as venues, caterers, restaurants and AV suppliers as needed, utilising preferred hotel and supplier agreements

**We’re looking for you if your profile matches the following**:

- Diploma or Degree in the Events/Hospitality/Travel Industry
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in planning meetings, incentives, conventions, conferences and/or special events
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience managing outside vendors, sourcing and negotiating contract services
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in client management
- Proficient knowledge of the industry
- local and global markets
- Commercial Awareness
- Proficiency in database management
- Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and clients
- Ability to work with and cooperate with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to ever-changing scenarios
- Capability of problem solving - Anticipating, initiating and resolving issues
