Job Overview

The Singapore Recreation Club is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef Supervisor to oversee the daily Food Service Operations of all SRC FNB Outlets, Banqueting Functions, and Food & Beverage Events.

This role involves planning and coordinating food events and promotions, ensuring standard food hygiene is maintained, and making decisions within guidelines from Management Committee/GM on daily Food operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for instilling discipline and providing training for Kitchen Staff, attending to members' complaints and feedback, and conducting daily/monthly inventory on stocks and expiry dates.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Plan and coordinate food events and promotions in conjunction with the Chef
  2. Ensure standard food hygiene is maintained at all times
  3. Make decisions within guidelines from Management Committee/GM on daily Food operations
  4. Instill discipline and provide training for Kitchen Staff
  5. Attend to members' complaints and feedback
  6. Conduct daily/monthly inventory on stocks and expiry dates

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Diploma/Specialist certification in culinary arts
  • 5-6 years of relevant experience with Food and Hygiene Certification
  • Strong leadership qualities to lead and motivate the team
  • Ability to multitask and have good time management skills
  • Dependable and good team player
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent service orientation
