About the Team

Our objective is to articulate and enhance the Stripe narrative while establishing connections between our products and users.

The Product Marketing team is dedicated to generating customer insights that shape Stripe's product strategy, spearheading go-to-market initiatives for our diverse product offerings, and crafting and executing campaigns that drive product growth. This role is highly collaborative, working closely with various departments including Product, Engineering, Sales, Design, Developer Relations, and Communications. Unlike many other Product Marketing teams, our group engages throughout the entire product lifecycle—from influencing product development to driving launches and fostering post-launch product adoption.

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the execution of product marketing initiatives across sales and marketing to fuel growth with cross-border enterprises in the Greater China region.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the needs of current and prospective users through in-depth user research, competitive analysis, and comprehensive product knowledge.
  • Create, implement, and sustain tailored value propositions and messaging that resonate with local users, facilitating the development of marketing content, campaigns, and sales materials in the local language.
  • Ensure successful product launches and user adoption by collaborating with a variety of cross-functional teams, including product, sales, engineering, marketing, design, communications, and partnerships.
  • Enhance the efficiency and productivity of our sales teams in the region through knowledge sharing on products and solutions, market-specific resources, and support during field deployment.
  • Collaborate with country marketing teams to produce relevant content programs for key events, integrated marketing campaigns, and ongoing demand generation efforts.
  • Track key performance indicators related to product adoption, usage, and satisfaction to identify challenges and implement solutions to optimize growth in the market.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Mandarin; proficiency in business Mandarin is essential for engaging with customers.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in B2B technology marketing and/or sales, with prior product marketing experience being advantageous.
  • Ability to navigate complex and sophisticated markets remotely while understanding regulatory environments to facilitate cross-border selling.
  • Proven success in a global technology company working with cross-border businesses expanding internationally from China, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Results-oriented, balancing customer needs with business objectives to propose ambitious growth strategies.
  • Strong leadership and influencing capabilities; adept at driving cross-functional alignment and progress towards impactful outcomes with limited resources.
  • This position may require regular business travel to various locations.

Hybrid Work at Stripe

Employees assigned to an office are expected to spend at least 50% of their time in the office or engaging with users each month. This approach fosters in-person collaboration and learning while allowing flexibility in how individuals and teams achieve this balance.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this role is S$208,700 - S$313,100, subject to change based on location. For sales roles, this range reflects the On Target Earnings (OTE), encompassing both sales commissions and annual base salary. This salary range may include multiple career levels at Stripe and will be refined during the interview process based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and specific location. Candidates interested in this role who are not located in the primary area may inquire about the salary range for their location during the interview process.
