Job Description\

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and surveillance of our Serviced Residence, adhering to all relevant regulations.\

\

You will report directly to the Manager or Assistant Manager, Security. Your key responsibilities will include:\

  • \
  • Patrolling all areas of the premise to ensure the security, safety and fire safety of its occupants\\
  • Monitoring the movements of all personnel throughout the premise and alerting the Security Supervisor of suspicious behavior\\
  • Monitoring the routes taken by employees when commencing and concluding shift\\
  • Recording and reporting all acts of wilful neglect of duty by employees\\
  • Being conversant with fire and emergency procedures of the Serviced Residence and assisting the relevant responders in case of emergencies\\
  • Investigating and preparing incident reports on any occurrence or event associated with fire, damage, threats and disruption\\
  • Notifying the Engineering Department of any maintenance defects detected during patrol that pose safety and security risks\\
  • Providing basic levels of concierge, housekeeping and engineering services\\
  • Conducting daily checks on the key cabinet and reporting any discrepancies to the Manager or Assistant Manager, Security\\
  • To take on additional specific engineering duties such as performing routine daily inspections for some M & E equipment, performing preventive maintenance works, performing checkout and arrival room inspections, and performing related tasks as assigned\\\

    Requirements:

    The successful candidate will have:\

    • \
    • At least 2 years of relevant security-related experience\\
    • Attained at least a WSQ Advanced Certificate in Security\\
    • Completed the CERT Courses - WSQ Respond to Fire Incident in Workplace or WSQ Respond to Fire Emergency in Buildings\\
    • Possessed a valid individual Security License issued by the Police Licensing and Regulatory Department ( PLRD )\\
    • At least a higher secondary education\\
    • Knowledge in keycard system, Vingcard or Safflock and handling fire protection system\\
    • Knowledge in basic patrol, security equipment and the handling of security-related incidents\\
    • Fluent in verbal and written English\\
    • Willingness to perform shifts\\\
