Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced & proactive Physical Security Operations Lead with a strong background in data centre environments. This role is responsible for managing daily security operations, overseeing outsourced security personnel, operating key security systems, & supporting compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Security Operations

  • Oversee all aspects of daily physical security within the data centre environment.
  • Manage the rostering & scheduling of security officers to ensure adequate coverage & compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Ensure security personnel follow SOPs & carry out routine tasks including patrols, CCTV monitoring & access control.
  • Monitor vendor compliance regarding manpower, training & performance.
  • Provide guidance & escalation support for incidents beyond the authority of the security team.
  • Operate & monitor key security systems such as access control & video surveillance.
  • Respond promptly to security alerts, alarms & incidents.

2. Security Systems Management

  • Conduct routine audits & health checks of all physical security systems.
  • Ensure proper configuration & usage of access control & surveillance platforms.
  • Coordinate maintenance, updates & improvements to security infrastructure.

3. Customer Security Compliance

  • Ensure alignment with customer-specific security requirements & service-level agreements.
  • Handle customer inquiries & ad hoc security-related requests professionally & efficiently.
  • Prepare & deliver timely & accurate security reports for internal & external stakeholders.

4. Audit & Certification Support

  • Support external audits & certification processes by providing documentation & expertise.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data centre physical security operations.
  • Proven experience in managing rosters & scheduling for security personnel.
  • Familiarity with access control & surveillance systems.
  • Working knowledge of compliance standards.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving & communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities & respond effectively under pressure
