Roles & Responsibilities

The Security Operations Manager is responsible for directing and managing security operations at a security agency. This includes developing and implementing security policies and procedures, managing security personnel, and ensuring the delivery of quality security services to clients.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:
1. Develop and implement security policies, procedures and standards for the security agency.

2. Oversee the daily security operations of the security agency, including managing security personnel and the deployment of security resources.

3. Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks, and develop risk mitigation plans.

4. Develop and deliver security training programs to security personnel, clients, and employees of the security agency.

5. Establish and maintain relationships with other security agencies, law enforcement, and emergency services to ensure effective collaboration during incidents or emergencies.

6. Monitor security technology systems, including access controls, CCTV, and alarms, to ensure they are functioning properly.

7. Investigate security incidents and accidents, and provide reports to clients and management.

8. Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements in the security industry.

9. Manage the security budget and ensure that resources are allocated effectively.
