Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced & proactive
Physical Security Operations Lead
with a strong background in
data centre environments . This role is responsible for managing daily security operations, overseeing outsourced security personnel, operating key security systems, & supporting compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Daily Security Operations
Oversee all aspects of daily physical security within the data centre environment.
Manage the
rostering & scheduling
of security officers to ensure adequate coverage & compliance with contractual obligations.
Ensure security personnel follow SOPs & carry out routine tasks including patrols, CCTV monitoring & access control.
Monitor vendor compliance regarding manpower, training & performance.
Provide guidance & escalation support for incidents beyond the authority of the security team.
Operate & monitor key security systems such as access control & video surveillance.
Respond promptly to security alerts, alarms & incidents.
2. Security Systems Management
Conduct routine audits & health checks of all physical security systems.
Ensure proper configuration & usage of access control & surveillance platforms.
Coordinate maintenance, updates & improvements to security infrastructure.
3. Customer Security Compliance
Ensure alignment with customer-specific security requirements & service-level agreements.
Handle customer inquiries & ad hoc security-related requests professionally & efficiently.
Prepare & deliver timely & accurate security reports for internal & external stakeholders.
4. Audit & Certification Support
Support external audits & certification processes by providing documentation & expertise.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in
data centre physical security operations .
Proven experience in
managing rosters & scheduling
for security personnel.
Familiarity with access control & surveillance systems.
Working knowledge of compliance standards.
Strong organizational, problem-solving & communication skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities & respond effectively under pressure
