Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Restaurant Operations Director to lead our restaurant operations. As a key member of the management team, you will oversee all aspects of the restaurant's daily activities to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage front-of-house and back-of-house operations to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area and bar at all times.
  • Implement and maintain operational procedures and standards.
Team Leadership and Staff Management

You will be responsible for recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising restaurant staff, including waitstaff.

  • Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Foster a positive team culture and encourage high morale and teamwork.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
Customer Experience

As a Restaurant Operations Director, you will focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences by:

  • Greeting guests warmly and ensuring an excellent dining experience from arrival to departure.
  • Handling customer feedback, compliments, and complaints in a professional manner.
Inventory and Cost Control

You will monitor stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies, coordinate with suppliers, oversee order placements, manage food cost, and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Financial and Administrative Duties

As a Restaurant Operations Director, you will be responsible for monitoring daily revenue, costs, and other financial aspects of the restaurant, as well as assisting with budgeting and financial reporting.

Social Media Management

You will plan, create, and schedule engaging content for platforms like Instagram and Facebook by promoting new menu items, events, and promotions.

Branding and Online Presence

As a Restaurant Operations Director, you will maintain the restaurant's brand image and tone online by ensuring consistent photography style, captions, and visual themes.

Compliance and Safety

You will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas of the restaurant, and stay up-to-date with licensing, hygiene, and safety requirements.
