Visionary Leader in Health Data Insights

We are seeking a visionary Director of Health Analytics to lead our team of data analysts, data scientists, statisticians, and economists in harnessing the power of artificial intelligence, machine learning, operations research, systems modeling, geospatial analytics, forecasting, econometrics, visualization, and primary research to drive policy formulation and review, service planning, and operations within the Ministry of Health.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and communicate timely and actionable insights through the right channels to inform policy makers' decisions.
  • Oversee the development and refinement of the Programme Evaluation Framework, ensuring its adoption across the MOH Family and conducting evaluations of health programmes.
  • Coordinate and deliver analytics work for MOH Divisions, identifying key areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in Health Analytics functions or applications of Data Analytics in various domains within Health or Public sector.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline: Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics/Biostatistics/Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with expertise in using data analysis tools such as Stata/R/Python to solve complex problems.
  • The ability to take a broad, strategic perspective while drilling deep to understand business needs and challenges.
  • Excellent stakeholder and change management skills.
  • A highly organized, structured, and meticulous approach to work.
  • Superb analytical, writing, and oral communication skills.
