Job Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of regional logistics services and capabilities to support Jabil's operations and customer programs. The successful candidate will be a member of the global logistics team and contribute to formulating global and regional logistics strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance for all Jabil logistics and trade compliance operations in the region.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategy to support business unit and site requirements.
  • Manage and mentor regional logistics teams and site logistics managers.
  • Collaborate with carrier managers to select and negotiate regional carriers.
  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously and manage resources effectively.
  • Work with other regional managers to develop strategies and capabilities for cross-regional logistics operations.
  • Drive productivity initiatives for both regional and cross-regional operations.
  • Ensure achievement of regional logistics performance metrics.
  • Support customer sales initiatives and customer accounts.
  • Lead dedicated customer logistics activities.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry.
  • Experience in carrier and 3PL management.
  • Ability to devise and implement logistics strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, with proficiency in managing business analytics.
  • Knowledge of regional direct and indirect taxes, as well as regional customs regimes.
  • Proven track record of successful change management and productivity improvement.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and articulation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and e-mail skills.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required, with a postgraduate degree in SCM/Logistics preferred.
  • Significant international and regional logistics experience.
  • Demonstrated high performance orientation, strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and communication skills.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to influence senior management through well-formulated business presentations.
