
Business Development Leader

We are seeking a strategic and accomplished Senior Vice President (SVP) or Vice President (VP) of Partnerships to drive our expansion across the diverse and rapidly growing Asia Pacific (AP) markets.
This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and pursuing new business opportunities and strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, and telcos across key markets in the AP region.
The successful candidate will build, manage, and grow a robust sales pipeline, taking ownership of deals from lead generation through to closure with the support of the deal squad, considering the diverse market dynamics within AP.
They will develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within retail banking and the credit card industry across various AP countries.
Leveraging their existing network and building new connections across the AP region will accelerate pipeline growth and convert existing opportunities.
Furthermore, they will structure, negotiate, and close complex commercial deals that align with our strategic objectives and resonate with the needs of different AP markets.
Market trends, the competitive landscape, and customer needs across the AP region will be analyzed to identify future potential growth opportunities and new revenue streams.
The regional sales plans and partnership programs will be developed and executed to ensure optimal performance and growth.
The business value and revenue streams from existing key partnerships in the region will be enhanced.
Cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, including product, engineering, and marketing, will ensure successful partnership implementation and ongoing management tailored to AP market requirements.
Staying up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory environments, and the competitive landscape within the loyalty, payments, and financial technology sectors across key AP countries is essential.
Representing us at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events in Singapore and across the AP region is also a requirement.
Qualifications & Experience:A proven track record of success in enterprise sales, business development, or strategic partnerships, with a significant focus on the financial services industry, particularly banks and FIs, across multiple Asia Pacific markets is required.
Strong skills in strategic planning, business partnering, compelling presentations, business modeling, and data analysis are necessary.
Experience selling enterprise SaaS platforms is essential, as well as knowledge of FinTech industry solutions, particularly within loyalty and payment solutions.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with cultural sensitivity to operate effectively across AP, are required.
Ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is essential.
Travel across the Asia Pacific region is expected.
