Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic partnerships with business units to drive organizational effectiveness through HR programmes and initiatives.
  • IDentify gaps and opportunities to minimize people-related risks and influence solutions/outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice on HR policies and procedures, including employment legislation, talent management, performance management, recruitment, manpower planning, rewards strategies, and employee engagement.
  • Determine hiring requirements of business units and collaborate with NTU's Shared Services team on timely talent acquisition and staff appointments.
  • Serve as a facilitator and advisor to senior leaders on industrial relations, employee grievances, conduct, and discipline matters.
  • Advise stakeholders on policy changes and collaborate with senior leaders and functional HR COE to drive HR initiatives such as manpower planning, budget planning, employee engagement surveys, people development programs, change management plans, and performance management.
  • Supervise a small team of HR professionals, depending on the deployment of units supported by the HR Business Partner.
