Responsibilities and Duties

As a Building Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for managing contractual and costing matters, including verifying invoices for payment, assessing contractors' claims for variation works, extension of time, loss and expense, final account and handling of contractual disputes.

You will also be responsible for updating variation in claims, projects handover dates, submitting and monitoring monthly and final project claims, addressing concerns regarding payment claim breakdown formats/ amounts, invoicing, variation orders, final accounts, etc. Additionally, you will channel other enquiries to the respective persons-in-charge, ensure proper filing and storage of related documents, obtain Monthly Progress Reports by deadline, and liaise with relevant departments for IFCA activity code cost to date and budget monitoring.

In this role, you will also be responsible for preparing subcontract agreement scope of work, pricing, etc., ensuring detailed and accurate measuring quantity and taking off, sourcing materials and sending quotation inquiries to vendors and subcontractors, comparing quotes, reviewing prices, and ensuring compliance to contract requirements.
