Job Summary

The Purchasing Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Purchasing Manager with day-to-day purchasing functions at THE SINGAPORE RESORT & SPA. Key responsibilities include processing purchase indents, organizing systems for pending supplies, and facilitating purchases upon approval.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and process all purchase requests and orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods from suppliers.
  2. Assist various hotel departments in formulating material requirements and secure competitive pricing through approved procedures.
  3. Monitor outstanding purchase orders to guarantee on-time delivery and develop a monthly report highlighting outstanding orders by department.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and the ability to work independently. Familiarity with inventory management, data entry, spreadsheets, and databases is also essential.

A strong administrative background, coupled with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain accurate records, will make you an ideal candidate for this position.
