The Business Development Manager is a key role within our organization, responsible for driving growth and expansion through strategic partnerships and client relationships.

This position involves identifying and researching potential clients to expand market reach, developing and maintaining strong connections with these clients, and collaborating with sales teams to craft mutually beneficial proposals.

Negotiation skills are essential in this role as the Business Development Manager will negotiate terms of contracts with clients and engage with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.

Additionally, this role entails monitoring project teams to ensure that contractual terms are met effectively, analyzing customer feedback and competitor strategies to enhance business decisions, and preparing and delivering persuasive presentations to potential clients and internal executives.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to design and enforce business processes and policies that support the overall operational structure.

Other key responsibilities include continuously filling the sales pipeline by identifying and adding qualified prospects, developing and managing strategic partnerships to facilitate sustained business growth, tracking and reporting on the progress and status of various proposal components, and conducting market research to stay ahead of industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly.

A background in customer support is advantageous in this role, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Salesforce. An in-depth understanding of market dynamics and demographics, combined with exceptional communication and negotiation skills, are also crucial for success as a Business Development Manager.

  • Bachelor's Degree required; applicants with a Diploma and over 10 years of relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Background in customer support is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Salesforce.
  • In-depth understanding of market dynamics and demographics.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
